Ribbon Cutting Celebrations
The Battle Creek Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer the membership benefit of Ribbon Cutting Celebrations to member business’ who are celebrating a key moment within their businesses history. Ribbon Cuttings are the ceremonial opening of a brand-new, newly renovated or relocated business that has opened within the last six months. It can inaugurate organizations first day of business, or it can take place weeks after the business’ soft opening. Due to the Ribbon Cutting marking a significant moment in the business’ history, it’s the perfect opportunity for a photo. The Ceremony itself provides the business owner or manager a chance to say a few words to employees, their friends and family, and/or their business partners. It’s also an opportunity to talk about what their business does and the impact it has on our economy within the Greater Battle Creek Area. To host a Ribbon Cutting Celebration, you must be a member in good standing with the Battle Creek Area Chamber of Commerce.
Who qualifies for a Ribbon Cutting Celebration?
The Chamber is available to assist with your business’ ceremony if your business has:
- Opened within the past six months
- Moved to a new location due to expansion
- Remodeled or expanded its current location
- Celebrating a milestone anniversary
- Or, celebrating a groundbreaking
