The Executive Director of the Regional Manufacturing Technology Center (RMTC), Industrial Trades Education (ITE) and Workforce Solutions (WFS) provides leadership and management of all aspects of developing, executing and assessing educational programs and courses that lead to employment in industrial trades careers or provide an upgrade of skill competence for those employed in industrial trades careers. The Executive Director is responsible for implementing strategy to ensure quality, viability and cost effectiveness of each program or course within the department.
The Executive Director also assumes responsibility for the management and utilization of the RMTC and Eastern Academic Center (EAC) facilities and their infrastructure, contents, and usage. In addition to offerings in Calhoun County, they will oversee industrial trades programs conducted at other regional sites in Hastings and Coldwater, Michigan.
The Executive Director is responsible for the strategic leadership and administration of a workforce development portfolio of revenue generating programs. These programs include the analysis, development, and sales and marketing for highly customized training solutions.
